AIRTEC Motorsport is excited to launch its ultimate-spec intercooler kit, designed specifically for highly modified Stage 4 and over Nissan R35 GT-Rs that demand exceptional cooling efficiency and performance for both track and fast road use. This new intercooler is engineered to meet the needs of GT-Rs running increased boost pressures while delivering optimum cooling performance.

After an extensive development process spanning two years, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler kit has been carefully researched, designed, and tested in the UK. Through testing various designs, including end tank configurations, boost pipe connectors, and both tube-and-fin and bar-and-plate cores, we arrived at a design offering the best performance for Stage 4 GT-Rs and beyond.

The finished product features 3” free-flowing inlet and outlet pipes that seamlessly connect to custom end tanks. The core itself is a massive 110mm deep bar-and-plate design capable of supporting up to 1,500bhp. This high-performance intercooler optimises the use of the vehicle’s lower grille area and includes an angled air deflector to further enhance airflow.

This advanced design results in a substantial increase in surface area and cooling volume, significantly reducing charge temperatures. Ideal for high-power, tuned Nissan R35 GT-Rs, this intercooler ensures consistent performance under demanding conditions.

The kit fits neatly behind the original bumper, though it does require modification to the plastic intercooler surround. The comprehensive kit includes a 20-piece big boost pipe and hose connector kit, pre-turbo induction pipes, AIRTEC foam air filters, and all the required fixtures and fittings for installation. It also comes with full fitting instructions for easy installation.
