AIRTEC Motorsport is excited to unveil its new RS6 C8 intercooler upgrades, designed to significantly enhance performance for track or fast road use. Developed at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, these high-performance intercoolers are perfect for Audi RS6 C8 owners who demand the very best in cooling efficiency and reliability, even during extended hard driving.

To ensure optimal performance, we have created larger capacity, freer-flowing intercoolers that replace the restrictive OEM items. These upgrades are designed to maintain peak performance without sacrificing cooling effectiveness, even under the most demanding conditions.

Design and Fitment The original twin intercoolers are mounted between the bumper and inner arch liners, utilising air guides on both the front and rear to direct air effectively. Instead of altering this system, we focused on developing a new core design that is the same width and height but features a deeper structure to provide an impressive increase in cooling capacity.

As a result, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler upgrades offer a 21% increase in overall capacity compared to the OEM intercoolers, ensuring much better cooling and temperature control.

These upgrades come with high-flow end tanks, specifically designed to optimise internal airflow, ensuring maximum cooling efficiency and performance. The AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler kit reuses all original mounting points, hoses, and air guides for a seamless installation, making it a straightforward upgrade.

Performance Testing Thorough testing shows that the AIRTEC Motorsport uprated intercoolers maintain a steady rate of post-intercooler temperatures, even when turbo temperatures spike dramatically by nearly 170%. In contrast, the OEM intercoolers struggled with a 60% increase in charge temperatures during similar conditions, showcasing the superior performance of the AIRTEC intercoolers.
