We’ve completed an extensive research and development programme on the BMW B38 1.5L 3-cylinder turbocharged engine, as found in models such as the 218i F44 and other vehicles across the BMW range. While this compact turbo engine delivers efficient performance from the factory, it offers significant potential for optimisation when paired with the right tuning solution.
After integrating the Dimsport Rapid TPM tuning module, we achieved a noticeable transformation in performance. In stock form, this engine produces approximately 136HP and 240Nm of torque. With the Rapid TPM installed and calibrated, our testing recorded gains up to 168HP and 279Nm, delivering a substantial improvement across the entire rev range.
