That’s where our solution comes in. Using the Dimsport Rapid TPM Tuning Module, combined with a custom Avon Tuning Remap, we can safely and effectively increase performance by up to 30 hp and 60 nm, without ever needing to unlock the ECU.
The 170 PS engine provides a solid platform, but when fully loaded or working hard, it can feel like it’s missing the extra push. With our advanced TPM map, we unleash that hidden potential—improving low-end torque, throttle response, and drivability, all while maintaining OEM reliability and fuel efficiency.
For automatic Transit models, we also recommend fitting the Dimsport FR (Fast Response) Pedal Module to eliminate throttle lag and improve responsiveness, particularly in urban and stop-start driving conditions.
What is the TPM Module?
The Dimsport Rapid TPM (Turbo Power Management) module is an intelligent tuning device engineered for modern turbocharged diesel and petrol engines. Built with an advanced microprocessor and dual EEPROM memory, it takes control of critical boost and fuelling parameters via the vehicle’s CAN BUS and SENT protocol, fully compatible with the secure SID212 ECU.
