The latest generation Ford Transit 2.0 TDCi 130 PS is equipped with the highly secure SID212 ECU, making conventional ECU remapping trickier due to Ford’s advanced tuning protection.
That’s where our solution comes in. By integrating the Dimsport Rapid TPM Tuning Module with a custom Avon Tuning Remap, we’re able to safely and effectively extract more performance—delivering gains of up to 30 hp and 65 nm without the need to physically access or unlock the ECU.
While the 130 PS engine is built for reliability and efficiency, it can often feel underpowered—especially when carrying heavy loads or navigating hilly terrain. Our custom TPM mapping enhances drivability by increasing low-end torque and responsiveness, all while keeping within safe factory tolerances and preserving fuel economy.
For automatic Transit models, we also recommend adding the Dimsport FR (Fast Response) Pedal Module to dramatically improve throttle response and eliminate the lag common in factory setups—perfect for stop-start driving, towing, or delivery work.
What is the TPM Module?
The Dimsport Rapid TPM (Turbo Power Management) module is an advanced tuning system designed for modern turbocharged petrol and diesel engines. It features a high-speed microprocessor and dual EEPROM memory, giving it full control over key fuelling and boost parameters via the vehicle’s CAN BUS and SENT protocols—making it fully compatible with the SID212 ECU used in the 130 PS Transit.
While each TPM module comes pre-programmed, Avon Tuning customises the calibration specifically for your vehicle. By connecting directly to the TPM module, we can log real-time engine data and fine-tune the map to suit your van’s usage—whether it’s for heavy-duty work, fleet optimisation, or everyday driving.
