A direct replacement for the smaller, more restrictive OEM intercooler, this AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers increased surface area, higher efficiency, and improved volume, ensuring lower intake temperatures and enhanced power delivery.

This high-flow intercooler features a 63mm core design, combined with precision-moulded, cast end tanks for optimal flow. It increases the overall capacity by 80%, with a noticeable boost in frontal area compared to the original unit. Despite the increased size, the AIRTEC intercooler fits perfectly behind the standard bumper with no need for trimming or cutting, making it a straightforward upgrade.

Performance Testing

Rigorous testing has shown that the AIRTEC intercooler significantly reduces intake air temperatures (IATs) compared to the standard OEM intercooler. During our testing, the car showed remarkable improvements in performance. With the stock intercooler, the car reached peak air temperatures of 68°C after back-to-back runs. However, with the AIRTEC intercooler installed, IATs dropped by 120°C, allowing the car to run cooler and more reliably.
