The Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) delivers an immersive sound experience for the BMW XM’s V8 engine, crafted entirely from high-grade titanium with integrated acoustic reflectors that direct external sound toward the cabin. Two integrated exhaust valves within the muffler manage gas flow to produce a smooth and harmonic tone at low RPMs, transitioning to a deep, resonant V8 growl in the mid-range, and culminating in a high-frequency motorsport-inspired crescendo at higher revs. This sound progression is precisely calibrated to align with engine load and RPM for an acoustically thrilling yet refined drive.

The titanium construction reduces weight by 11.4 kg—a 50.7% decrease compared to the stock exhaust—improving agility and overall handling.
